Maybe something good did come out of the budget. The relevance of the CPI to aged pensioners? As we all know, we don't buy the latest car - technology. Or most of the stuff in between. The CPI, will be tied to the things that most pensioners buy - ie - food. Or, at least I hope so. Heaven only knows what those in Government know what we pensioners actually buy, because no-one in Government has ever contacted me to ask..
