Bit heavy going with my morning coffee, but since I like Pilger, read it and have to say it makes good reading. Good idea to put it up in this section.

I am still trying to get to it as I have had some interuptions

I have NOT forgotten this Muss, but I need to be able to sit and read it but keep getting disturbed -- I had to search for it this morning and BUMB it up would do others well to read it !

How SAD that something as important as this is ignored.

These sort of things are important and without knowledge you have no idea what the USA with western nation support is capable of and you could casually support the murder of millions of innocent people OR even allow the commencement of a third world war by being complacent and uninformed.

I agree that the start is a bit hard but the rest is easy sailing ..... so start half way down.

John Pilger is astute and accurate, so what he has to say is valid and backed up with factual information.

Thanks for putting this up Mussitate. I have tremendous respect for John Pilger and found his article educative and distressing. I have not trusted the USA since the 1960's but Pilger has enlightened me with many facts I did not know. You are right, it is depressing reading. I'm not a religious person but the word "evil" best describes the machinations of Western fascism. How does one fight this evil? 

Very interesting, I found 'fast reading' very handy in the long reading, fascism like communism can be found in a lot of thinking by various politicions of different persuasions, as it is in most of us. We all have different thoughts on what is right.             At the time of Hitler, he was able, like Stalin and Mussolini to get away with their brands of 'fascism' as no one in the west wanted another war,  England appeased Hitler to avoid a war, coming out with the 'slogan "Peace in our time" Even the two fascist countries{In their own ways" }after forming an alliance,  fought to the death. With all the faults under stalin, IMO, without Russia against germany it could have been a very different outcome.  

Japan was a totally different story,

Wandering a bit, but fascism, racism and a lot of other nasties, seem to be in the human gene.

A Doco to watch here,  I have not watched it as yet myself as I have had many appointments but look forwar to seeing it
