This is how you can take off if you have a spare AU$800 million.
You may have heard the saying ‘make it rain’, but this billionaire has put a slightly different spin on it, putting the ‘air’ in billionaire and making it fly with his or her latest cash splash. While many would happily settle for a private jet, this takes it to a whole new level.
Recently released images of the interior of a Boeing 747 built for a mystery billionaire by Greenpoint Technologies have to be seen to be believed.
Rumored to have cost the owner £400 million pounds, the equivalent of AU$800 million, the custom-built jumbo took three years to complete.
Featuring a master bedroom, multiple lounge rooms, a dining room, kitchen, office and ‘aeroloft’ with eight beds for guests who would prefer to spend the flight horizontal, the plane’s staff quarters even look better than many people’s homes.
Boeing 747s usually take to the sky with anywhere up to 600 passengers on board; however, this one is designed to accommodate only a dozen or so in what can only be described as ridiculous style.
Putting first class, and even Emirate’s first home residence, to shame, the price point of this custom-built flying palace makes it one of the most expensive purchases of all time.
Why not take a look at the pictures and tell us what you think?
