Arch to Arc record broken

If you’re struggling to get motivated this morning, look no further than Aussie John van Wisse, who has broken the world record in the gruelling Arch to Arc triathlon. Running, swimming (the English Channel no less) and cycling the 483km route from London’s Marble Arch to Paris’s Arc de Triomphe, took the 41-year-old from Melbourne 61 hours and 27 minutes, beating the previous record by a whopping 12 hours and 12 minutes.

However, it wasn’t all easy for van Wisse, with Dover locals thinking he was an illegal immigrant, calling in the police and the coastguard.

Why not watch this video of how he prepared for the challenge?
