A match made in food heaven: Red Rooster and Four‘N Twenty Pies to release limited edition pie

If you’re a fan of roast chicken and a perfectly gooey meat pie, we have exciting news for you. Red Rooster has teamed up with Four‘N Twenty Pies to bring you the best of both worlds — the ‘Chicken and Gravy Pie’.

Combining the fast food chain’s signature roast chicken and gravy with Four‘N Twenty’s golden flaky pastry, this delicious pie will only be available for a limited time at your local Red Rooster.

Red Rooster started out as Australia’s first and favourite chicken shop over 50 years ago and now specialises in both roast and fried chicken. All of Red Rooster’s famous roast chickens are 100 per cent fresh, never frozen and are delivered and prepared daily in your local restaurant.

An equally iconic Australian brand, Four’N Twenty Pies is the home of the humble meat pie. Four’N Twenty began its journey in 1947, fast becoming a game-time staple for AFL fans across Victoria, and later, the country.

Designed to fit perfectly in one hand, the Chicken and Gravy Pie is the perfect snack to enjoy alongside a game of footy or a movie. Smothered in gravy, the limited edition pie is sure to taste even more satisfying as we enter the colder months.

There are two ways to enjoy Red Rooster’s latest menu item. You can order it as a classic combo meal with chips and a drink, or you can opt for Red’s special Chicken Pie Box. The latter pairs the Chicken and Gravy Pie with a piece of crunchy fried chicken, regular mash and gravy, as well as chips and a drink.

Red Rooster’s marketing director Ashley Hughes says; “Red Rooster is thrilled to be joining forces with Four‘N Twenty … And it comes at the perfect time – just in time for winter and footy! Come into Red Rooster from May 15 to grab one – you’d be mad not to.”

The new Red Rooster x Four’N Twenty Chicken and Gravy Pie will be available at Red Rooster restaurants across the country from Wednesday, 15 May 2024.
