One Click Tradies app seamlessly links customers to tradies

One Click Tradie

Australia’s newest affordable construction tech, One Click Tradies, a tradie directory and job posting platform, is empowering tradies and customers alike.

One Click Tradies makes it easier to find quality local tradies as well as allowing customers to advertise across One Click Tradies’ directories and bid remotely on posted jobs.

In early 2022, in the final year of his apprenticeship, Jonty White suffered an injury onsite that would eventually render him unable to return to physical work. So to keep positive, he began to examine areas in the construction industry he felt needed improvement.

He identified the demand for tradies in Sydney, and while digging deeper identified a larger underlying issue across Australia.

Since the pandemic, the construction industry countrywide has struggled with many disruptions including supply chain issues and labour shortages. And as the trade shortage continued to worsen across the nation, Jonty began creating a platform to connect customers and tradespeople.

And so One Click Tradies was born – a platform that streamlines the process of finding and booking tradespeople and subcontractors in Australia.

The platform seamlessly connects skilled tradespeople, subcontractors and apprentices with consumers.

Rigorous security measures

With comprehensive security measures, including robust review systems, rigorous licence and ABN checks, you can rest assured that your projects will run smoothly from start to finish.

The user-friendly platform empowers customers to easily discover and hire local tradespeople by either searching through the tradie directory or posting jobs to be seen by local tradies.

Likewise, it provides tradies with access to customers within their selected radius, letting tradespeople complete jobs locally or even step away from a traditional work setting to work on the road while travelling.

By leveraging cutting-edge technology, consumers can conveniently access a vast network of highly skilled tradespeople who are ready to meet their specific needs.

With more than 1000 tradespeople eager to find more work, and 750 customers already signed up, One Click Tradies has successfully connected more than 100 customers with quality tradespeople during its six-month live test phase.

Core principles

Throughout this phase, feedback and suggestions have delivered improvements and changes to the platform. Jonty has made reliability, transparency, fairness, and quality a priority – the core principles of One Click Tradies.

After months of testing and hard work, the app was released in December. Find it here.

Benefits include:

  • all tradespeople permitted on the platform undergo licence and ABN checks, ensuring credibility
  • lowest subscription fees (less than a cup of coffee per week) for tradespeople and zero fees for customers, ensuring a balanced and equitable transaction
  • a large pool of customers and job opportunities, connecting geographically isolated customers with tradespeople willing to travel.

More opportunity

“The Aussie construction industry suffers from a low trust between tradies and their customers. We look forward to helping to solve this problem,” Jonty says.

“We’re proud to launch the Local Tradies at your Fingertips campaign to customers struggling to find quality tradespeople.

“While it’s never been easier for tradespeople to launch a business as well as finding workers, the work availability and support can be a roadblock, which we intend to change.”

Tradies and customers can head to www.oneclicktradies.com.au to complete the simple five-step sign-up process to access either jobs in their selected work radius or have access to the tradie directory.
