AC/DC set to rock Australia—find out when the legends are coming back

It’s official: the thunder from Down Under is rolling back into town. After a decade-long wait, Australia’s rock royalty, AC/DC, are set to electrify nationwide stadiums with their 2025 POWER UP Tour!

If you’ve ever wanted to see Angus Young’s duck walk or belt out ‘Highway to Hell’ with thousands of fellow fans, now’s your chance—so dust off your black T-shirts and get ready to rock.

It’s been ten years since AC/DC last graced Australian stages, and anticipation is at fever pitch.

The band, whose riffs have soundtracked everything from backyard barbies to footy finals, will bring its signature energy to five major cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Brisbane.

The tour kicks off at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on 12 November, before rolling through Accor Stadium in Sydney (21 November), the BP Adelaide Grand Final (30 November), Optus Stadium in Perth (4 December), and wrapping up at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane (14 December).

Adding a fresh twist to the tour, Melbourne’s Amyl and the Sniffers will warm up the crowds.

Known for their high-octane punk energy and frontwoman Amy Taylor’s wild stage presence, they’re the perfect local act to get the blood pumping before the main event.

In a delightful twist, Melbourne City Council is bidding for AC/DC to recreate their legendary ‘It’s a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock’ n’ Roll)’ music video.

The original, filmed on Swanson Street in 1976, is etched in Australian music folklore—complete with bagpipes and a flatbed truck.

For many, AC/DC isn’t just a band—they’re a soundtrack to our lives. From the days of vinyl and Countdown to streaming on Spotify, their music has spanned generations.

This is more than just a concert—it celebrates Australian music history. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or love a good night out, don’t miss your chance to be part of the thunder.
