Baked Cinnamon Apples

Our Baked Cinnamon Apples are a cheat’s way to get this delicious dessert onto your plate quicker than the traditional oven-baked version. Perfect if you need an instant sweet treat.

Serves: Two

Time: 10 minutes


  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons raisins


In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins and set aside. Core the apples and put them in microwaveable bowls. Spoon the raisin in to the middle of the apples until half filled, then add one teaspoon of water on top to moisten the filling. Fill the rest of the apple with the mixture and pour another teaspoon of water over the apple. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and microwave on high for five minutes. Serve with some natural yogurt and nuts if you wish.
