Recipe: Healthy Chicken Nuggets

Baked in the oven, our Healthy Chicken Nuggets are certainly kind on your heart.

Oven-baked using real chicken breasts, our Healthy Chicken Nuggets are certainly kind on your ticker, so you can enjoy them to your heart’s content.

Serves: Two

Time: 30 minutes


  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper, to season


Preheat the oven to 190°C.

Dice the chicken into pieces and set aside.

Whisk the egg in a bowl, and in another bowl place the breadcrumbs and season with salt and pepper.

Dip the chicken into the egg, and then roll both sides of it into the breadcrumbs.  

Place all of the nuggets onto a lightly greased baking tray. Bake the nuggets for 20 minutes, or until cooked through. Serve immediately.

    Can add an extra variation to this use Panko breadcrumbs found in Coles and Woolies.
    Slightly more expensive but a great alternative to regular breadcrumbs.
