I love passionfruit but the price is ridiculous.

There is more in those glasses than just passionfruit and ricotta! Tinned peaches or apricots maybe! Yes passionfruit are expensive to buy. If you have a house you may be able to grow a passionfruit vine on the fence if the neighbours don't mind. They do go everywhere. The fruit takes a long time to ripen though and you have to beat the wildlife to them (possums and sulphur crested cockatoos).

I know a lot about passionfruit. My friend grows the big purple ones in the sandy soil of the Gold Coast. They are beautiful. You don't get that much passionfruit from 4 large passionfruit and it really looks like pieces of peach in there as well. It wouldn't be the first time they left out a vital ingredient. The majority of these recipes don't match the pictures.

Ooops - I was not very observant - the recipe says scoop the mixture into the passionfruit shells - the photo shows the mixture in glasses - so still not right

Or maybe it's mango in there. That would be nice!
