Sangria, Cocktail, Recipe, Spain, Spanish, Punch, Fruity, Drink

No Spanish holiday would be complete without a glass of chilled Sangria served on la terraza and you can easily replicate the moment with this simple recipe.

Ingredients
One bottle red wine (the good thing about Sangria is that the wine doesn’t have to be expensive)
500ml lemonade (the cloudy variety gives a nice sharpness to the drink)
ice
Handful of fresh mint
1 apple, orange and lemon, sliced

Method
Simply pour everything into a large jug and then serve over ice, with a bowl of Spanish olives on the side.

For a nice non-alcoholic version, buy a bottle of Gold label sangria from Coles, add the lemonade, fruit slices mint and ice. Goes down well for non -drinkers.
