A lovely fresh, healthy and light Frozen Strawberry Yoghurt recipe.
Berries are the perfect fruit to add to your summer desserts and snacks. Take the time to prepare this healthy and wonderful dessert, and treat yourself to a serve of Frozen Yoghurt for the warmer days.
Time: 8 1/2 hours
- 750g strawberries, hulled
- 1/2 cup honey
- 500g tub plain, Greek-style yoghurt
In a food processor, mix the strawberries and honey until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve into a large jug and discard the solids. Return mixture to the food processor and add yoghurt. Process until smooth; pour into two 3-cup capacity plastic containers. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about four hours. Remove from freezer. Stand for three minutes and spoon into food processor; mix until smooth. Transfer to a six-cup capacity plastic container. Cover surface with plastic wrap and freeze until firm, about four hours. To serve, remove from freezer and stand until just softened.
