Need a quick but healthy meal? Our Zesty Tuna Pasta is better than any fast food – not only will it satisfy your tastebuds and belly, but it will also be kind to your body.

Serves: Four

Time: 20 minutes


  • 375g dried spaghetti, or pasta of choice
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts, toasted
  • 425g can tuna in spring water, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest, plus extra to serve
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped parsley leaves


Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water according to the packet instructions. Drain. In a bowl, add the cooked pasta, tuna, oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, parsley and pine nuts. Toss to combine and season to taste. Serve topped with lemon zest.

    These recipes are a hoot! There's no oil listed in the Ingredients but there is under Method.
    Perhaps it is optional!

    I've just got myself a new pair of glasses (from Spec savers ) and I can clearly see that there are 2 table spoons of olive oil mentioned in the ingredients!

    Hmm; seems we're back with the old style of recipe v picture dissonance. Aside what fey said, the recipe says spaghetti, but it shows a macaroni type, a rigatoni or similar. Where are the pinenuts? The parsley appears to be finely chopped, not rough chopped, and I can't see any lemon zest; although it MIGHT be there hiding. It would be nice if one or more of your staff could try these recipes (or their partners, mum, dad, friends etc) and take a picture with all the ingredients you say should be inthere?
