I believe No 13 (lighting 3 cigarettes with the same match) originated in the trenches in World War 1, because the light would give an enemy sniper enough time to take aim and shoot.

Clever little Lizzie, I served in the army in the !950s and we NEVER lit 3 cigarettes from the one match for exactly that reason even on leave and in a pub.

They forgot to add also no cabbages as the cabbage moth will lay caterpillars which will eat the cabbage plant.

If my Aunt dropped a knife and no one else was home she would leave it there until someone came home and would ask them to pick it up. She believed it was bad luck to pick up a knife that she had dropped. The person picking up the knife would have good luck.

Hmm! have to think about that leaving the house through the door that was your entry point.
If a fire broke out near the entry point I think I would question the wisdom of this superstition. Apart from that I tend to enter through the "doorway", entering through "the door" can be expensive when it comes to replacing it. Not to mention the possible physical injury one might sustain.

My Mother would sit down and count to ten if she had to return into the house shortly after leaving it.

She also never allowed knives to be crossed. To this day I can't see crossed knives without straightening them.
