The beauty of Beetox

For years people have used products derived from the honey bee, in particular its venom, to boost the elasticity and plumpness of skin. Many face creams have been derived from the venom of these busy bees and indeed, several members of the British royal family are said to such creams.

Due to their popularity, and of course, the process to extract the bee venom, such creams can be expensive, but a little goes a long way. Skin Doctors Cosmeceuticals has formulated the aptly named Beetox, a facial cream which does exactly what it says its does; smooths wrinkles and makes your face look and feel firmer.

I have been using this cream for just over a week and have noticed a difference. I’m not great at skin care, a quick face wash in the shower is about as involved as I get, but, as I’d noticed things starting to move south since turning 40, I decided to give it a go. Not only is everything looking a little perkier, even my frown lines, on which I’ve often considered having Botox, have started to even out. And that’s not all. With the harsh bashing of winter my skin has been subjected to, the Manuka honey has started to even out those rough patches and my skin is looking shinier and feels much softer. As with many good skin creams, a little investment is involved. Beetox has an RRP of $59.95 for 50ml, but by my reckoning, this would last two to three months. But for those really keen to give it a try before spending the money, YOURLifeChoices has four tubs to give away. All you have to do is email us at [email protected] with the answer to the simple question below. Don’t forget to include your full name and postal address.

Q. What is the active ingredient in Beetox?

Competition closes 26 September 2014.
