What about Night Fever or Nutbush City Limits?
I fought hard for Night Fever but was overruled by the majority in the office with Stayin’ Alive!
Go Gloria!
Bonney M – Rivers of Babylon, Daddy Cool, Rasputin etc
‘Born to be Alive…..by Patrick Hernandez is the ultimate Disco tune from the Eighties.
Norm 39
Yes that was good fun music
Yes good songs, loved all those songs, Thanks for that
Chic – Le Freak
Earth, Wind & Fire – Boogie Wonderland
KC & The Sunshine Band – That’s The Way I Like It
The Trammps – Disco Inferno
Peaches & Herb – Shake Your Groove Thing
I like them all, but the worse part of this: I remember the words and this is a dead give away.
I think “I will survive” is the song The Seniors Party should take as their own, we are (just) surviving, but WE WILL SURVIVE and WE WILL HAVE A SUCCESSFUL AND LARGE PARTY!
Wait and see.
All great songs brings back memories of my youth how can I keep them to listen to again
justjanet: you need to do nothing, just keep this edition of Your Life Choices in your computer, then you can open it as often as you wish and listen to them, or worse still sing along.
Oh Henry don’t worry I know them all but would replace life choices no 5 with KC & the Sunshine Band or Born To BE Alive. Actually heard a souped up version of I Will Survive this morning as I did my first Step class for 25 years. Yes I’m older than most of the class but still mange a bit of movement. I spent my last night as a teenager screaming at The Beatles so guys work that out! They don’t write songs like they used to.
Vivi: THAT’S THE SPIRIT! I used to love dancing, moving about like you wouldn’t believe (whether I was a good dancer or not was inmaterial for me). Now I still dance, not as wild on the outside, but still vigorously on the inside.
Vivi: it’s people like you that we are trying to attract to the Seniors Party. Why don’t you send me your expression of interest that is exatly that – no more – no less. Something new to learn. (Henry, at [email protected])
