If you haven’t had the ‘pleasure’, Olive Garden is a restaurant chain serving Italian-American cuisine and, like so many fast food chains, it started up in theUS.

It isn’t noted for having the best food, but it is affordable and fast.

Recently Buzzfeed sent a group of Italian-American grandmas to act as food critics for some of the Olive Garden menu items and the results were hilarious.

The women don’t hold back on their opinions and critiques of the food, although not everything receives a negative rating.

Have you eaten at Olive Garden? How did you find the food? Would you recommend it to a friend?

Italian food is wonderful but make it at home most restaurants make a bad job of it.

If it is a US restaurant chain they will probably expand to Australia just like most of the others.

Probably with the addition of half a tonne of salt and sugar added for good measure in the USA version.

I agree with Tib,the food needs to be cooked and eaten fresh and restaurant food is often cooked en masse and kept hot which is not suitable for a decent Italian recipe.

That depends on the restaurant AutumnOz. However, in the case of a chain like this is you are probably correct.

I've only found one really good Italian restaurant in Sydney but I'm sure there's more. But there is just as much fun in cooking Italian as eating it why miss out. A glass of good red some good music and magic happens ;)
