    LITTLE WOMEN 1949
    Staring the dashingly, desirable, warm & fuzzy, understands & talks to females, Peter Lawford as Laurie. Who did not fall in love with him.
    Oh, & there was June Allyson as Jo - I still love her today.
    Margaret O'Brian as Beth with her breathless, optomistic, innocence.
    The beautiful Elizabeth Taylor as Amy
    & Janet Leigh as Meg.
    I watched this version as a child several times & it was these go get 'um, intelligent, can do females that influenced my self development & for the good.
    Because of the male characters like those portrayed by actors like Spencer Tracy, Mickey Rooney & Peter Lawford I grew up believing that men actually talk to women as people, as friends ..../?
