Top 10 travel films

To distract myself from pining over far-off destinations, I’ve taken to filling my hours with travel films. These are my personal favourite travel movies of all time, do you agree?

Roman Holiday (1953)

National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983)

Thelma and Louise (1991)

Murder on the Orient Express (1974)

Out of Africa (1985)

Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987)

The Adventures of Pricilla, Queen of the Desert (1994)

Under the Tuscan Sun (2003)

The Motorcycle Diaries (2004)

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011)

What about James Fitzpatrick's Travelogues which were staples of cinemas in the 1950s, about 10 minutes long. Wikipedia (via Google) states he made about 300 travelogues between 1934 and 1955.
