Do you believe in star signs? If so, a new hotel in Sydney may be just up your astrological alley.
The Ultimo touts itself as the world’s first astrological hotel, and features rooms and packages tailored to suit your astrological traits.
The concept was developed in conjunction with noted astrologer Damian Rocks, and the idea is to bring astrology into a contemporary context.
“When you read your star sign, it connects you to parts of yourself that you may not tap into in everyday life. We want guests at the hotel to have that sense of connection,” Mr Rocks explained.
When making a booking, guests can reveal their precise date, time and location of birth so hotel staff can tailor their stay according to their star sign.
On arrival, each guest will receive a city guide recommending tailored places to eat, drink and visit around Sydney.
Are you a Pisces? Head to Flying Fish, an Asian-inspired seafood restaurant with water views, or Lentil As Anything, a pay-what-you-feel vegetarian restaurant filled with local art.
Sagittarius guests are advised to eat a wood-fired pizza at Da Orazio in Bondi, or take in the open rooftop at The Glenmore Hotel. To get out and see the city, a Sagittarius should head to the Art Gallery of NSW, take a walk from Spit to Manly, or head for a swim at the North Sydney Olympic Pool.
