Felix Baumgartner

Felix Baumgartner not only became the first man to freefall from space, such was the interest that he also broke the YouTube record for most concurrent live streams.

The non-digital records he broke with his jump were:

  • highest jump from a platform (128,100 feet)
  • longest distance freefall (119,846 feet)
  • maximum vertical velocity (833.9mph or Mach 12.4)

If you missed this truly incredible feat of death-defying courage, then you can watch the leap in the above video.

Or if you’re looking for an alternative view, why not watch the Lego parody which Drew has managed to unearth?
