Based on the novel The Prone Gunman by Jean-Patrick Manchette, Sean Penn’s latest film The Gunman is a high-paced drama packed with suspense.
The Gunman revolves around Jim Terrier (Penn), a sniper who goes into hiding after killing the minister of the Congo mines. Returning to the Congo eight years later, his past catches up with him as he discovers he is the target of a hit squad himself.
Starring alongside Sean Penn are Jasmine Trinca as Annie, Javier Bardem as Felix and Ray Winstone as Stanley.
