Smithsonian magazine has announced the winners of its 12th annual photo contest. Photographers from 93 different countries entered, with over 26,500 photographs submitted into the categories of The Natural World, Travel, People, Americana, Altered Images, Mobile and Readers’ Choice.

    Just stunning, I cannot take a decent photo to save my life, how these people have a camera at the ready to take some of these shots I will never know.
