Have our leaders failed…

... you say they have.

... you say they have. In a recent poll 97 per cent of YOURLifeChoices members voted that we need to do more to make elected politicians more accountable. And with the Opposition shunning the multi-party committee aimed at preventing further asylum-seeker tragedies, it seems we do.

The asylum-seeker debate seems set to rumble on. A solution which will prevent further asylum-seeker tragedies is no closer. The Government today revealed that the Opposition had yet to take up any places offered on a new multi-party committee, which will work with a panel of experts carrying out an inquiry aimed at preventing further tragedies.  The standoff continues even after former navy chief Chris Barrie stated that the Coalition’s plan to simply turn back boats wouldn’t work and would be dangerous. You can read what the retired Admiral Barrie thinks at TheAustralian.com.au.

Have you had your say on how our leaders are performing? Do you think they should be held more accountable? Why not read what others think

This e-mail received today, was sent from a friend in France, Maxime Lépante, through Stuart Kaufman
    Forwarded to me.
This photo was taken at La Bastille Plaza in Paris, during the election celebration for the socialist president Hollande.

See any French flags? Anywhere? Actually, there is ONE towards the bottom right. The other flags are in order of appearance, Palestinian (2 flags top right+1 centre left), Algerian, Turkish (towards centre), Syrian (towards left of pic + below Palestinian flag), Moroccan (w. star in centre), and European Union flag. The other flags I can’t recognise, there are also Syndicates or Unions’ flags. That's France in a nutshell.

Picture deleted by me for space.

Hello to my American friends, (I'm Aussie)

As you know, the Socialist François Hollande won the presidential elections in France, last Sunday. It is a catastrophe for France. Hollande was elected by the Muslims: A survey (of 10,000 Muslims) shows that 93% of the Muslims voted for him.

As 2 million Muslims participated in this election, Hollande got 1,720,000 Muslim votes more than Sarkozy did: (0.93-0.07) x 2,000,000 = 1,720,000. But at the end, from the entire population, he got only 1,139,316 votes more than Sarkozy. So, without the Muslims' votes, Sarkozy would have been re-elected.

All the Muslims now feel empowered. Criminality is already on the rise (1,700 cars were burnt in France on the first night). Muslims are screaming anti-French and anti-Jews watchwords in our streets. Veiled women, wearing the (illegal) burqa, are strolling in our streets.

And, as if this wasn't enough, Hollande wants to give to all the foreigners the right to vote in our elections!! France will face a very hard situation. We are heading for civil war in a few years.

That's the latest news from occupied France.

    Maxime Lépante.

We need to take notice of what is happening in other countries, NOT so that we follow there behaviour but so that we can learn from their mistakes. DO NOT SELL US OUT- you politicians have lost the plot. our ancestors worked hard and overcome many obstetrical's so that we had a better life, why are you selling us out. We have no manufacturing of whitegoods, cars manufacturing is almost over, textiles have all but gone amongst so many other industries. there was a time when we had close to self sufficient. Now we we are looking at having nothing at all except our minerals. When the minerals have all been raped from the land what happens to Australia?????????????????????? Your suppose to be looking after everyone, not just yourselves. I am discussed in our politicians unfortunately there seems to be no one with care left, what will become of us????????????????????? I hope that my children do not have children because there is no future for australia anymore- GOD HELP ALL OF US
