Make your vote count

Font Size:

If you’ve always looked at what goes on below the line on the Senate ballot paper but never been sure what to do, then there’s a website which has simplified the process.

ClueyVoter.com enables you to select the Senate for your state or territory and then choose the parties which best align to your political leanings, by ranking how strongly you agree or disagree with what they stand for. You can then select the option to order your rankings and you will be presented with a replica ballot paper, indicating which preference you should attribute to each candidate.

You can then simply print off your selections and take along with you when you go to vote. Less time confused in the polling booth = more time to spend doing what you really enjoy.

Visit ClueyVoter.com for more information.

It’s really not that complicated. The name of the party usually tells you what they do: obviously the Animal Justice Party is going to be on about different things to the Shooters and Fishers party. Put the parties you prefer in the small numbers and the ones that sound execrable in the big numbers. It’s easier than working out a TAB bet.

The Rudd government has to go, it has lost the trust of the people. But we also have to make significant changes to the system so that the politicians are accountable and that the institutions of government are not under the control of the powerbrokers, the factions and the faceless men.

It is 12:29 AM, Sunday morning.
      I have the TV on.
      What happened.
      Did everyone just vote for
      The Labor Party
      OR
      The Liberal Party
      AND
Some for the Greens Party …/?
      I am a bit confused
      Many people are confused
Many people voted away from Labor & Liberal & Greens.
Did they not count those votes …/?
      Something strange is going on.

What a wonderful win to a decent Australian. Now the public purse will be safe.
