Introducing the new Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal card
The Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal card is now available. You can still travel with Pensioner Excursion Tickets if you wish, but choosing Opal gives you the same $2.50* unlimited travel in Sydney and surrounds, plus loads of other great benefits to tap into.

You only need to get a Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal card once. Then, instead of buying paper tickets, you load value onto your Opal card to pay for your travel, day after day.
You can top up at Opal retailers with as little as $2.50. Or top up any time at opal.com.au or by calling 13 67 25.
If you choose auto top up, it makes travel even easier. When your Opal card balance gets low it automatically tops up – like an e-tag for public transport.
The Gold Senior/Pensioner Opal card is available for NSW Seniors, Pensioner Concession card holders, and NSW War Widows.
