Strengthening the rights of older people

Age Discrimination is legally and morally unacceptable. Yet we all know age discrimination exists in Australia. Work is going on in Australia to improve rights of all people, however this is made harder by the lack of an international framework.

Dr Jane Barratt, Secretary General IFA, and other guest speakers will provide us with some insights into the global movement on rights of older people and ways forward to protect our rights as we age. This session is for individuals, members of organisations and those interested in the rights of older people.
