What to expect from your penis as you age

FONT SIZE: A+ A-
How your penis changes with age

Like everything in nature, your penis goes through a series of changes over your lifetime and these are not always something you look forward to. Here is what to expect from your ‘old fella’ as you age.

Shrinkage
As time passes, the penis will shrink a little as a result of decreased blood flow and testosterone. By the time a man is in his 60s or 70s he could lose up to 1.5cm in total length. If you are carrying some extra weight around your stomach, the penis will also appear smaller without it actually being smaller. As your belly gets bigger, the fat pad pushes out and a larger penile percentage becomes buried under the skin.

Curving
The penis can curve with age. This can affect its length, girth, and function. The condition, called Peyronie’s disease, is caused by physical trauma – usually because the shaft gets bent during sex. The condition can often be corrected surgically or treated with medication.

Changing colour
The penis can receive less blood flow as you age. With less blood in the area, the penis can appear lighter in colour. Also, just as skin everywhere shows effects of ageing, so does the penis skin, which can appear more mottled as you age.

Erectile dysfunction
The nerves in your penis become less sensitive as you age. This can lead to trouble with arousal and having an orgasm. As testosterone levels drop, erectile dysfunction (ED) becomes more likely. ED develops in five percent of men at age 40, and up to 15 percent at age 70. You may lose rigidity, but not necessarily your ability to have intercourse. Perhaps the most common culprit is the body’s inability to hold blood in the penis. When this happens, you may be able to get an erection but not maintain it. Blood flows in, but the ageing muscle that surrounds your erectile tissue can’t hold it there. A good way to try and avoid ED in your later life is to try and have daily erections. This keeps the arteries in shape and keeps consistent blood flow to the area.

Urinary issues
Around 20 per cent of men in their 40s, 50 to 60 per cent of men in their 60s, and 80 to 90 per cent of men in their 70s and 80s suffer from urinary issues. This can include problems with releasing water or holding back flow. Most of these issues relate to the prostate health and the best things you can do to avoid any issues are maintain a healthy weight and do regular pelvic floor exercises.

Viagra did nothing for me but 1 Cialis got it going all weekend. However, WARNING - check yourself out beforehand with the GP for any heart problems if you intend to use Cialis.

Viagra Cialis ... yes be careful .... if you use Viagra you must wait for at least 30 to 40 minutes before takes any effect ....same with Cialis ... all those are Chemicals and need to be digested in your bloodstream before you see any results .....

Do not expect results after 5 minutes ...does not work that way

If you get prostate cancer removed by surgery, say goodbye to erections and ejaculations.

A type of orgasm is still possible but not worth bothering about, depending if there are other things that get too stirred up with the activity.

If the bladder has to go as well, then there is an external urine bag or more complex internal one.

Erection and ejaculation and everything else is not the only way to have sexual satisfaction and be able to please your lady ..... there are many other ways .... some women have orgasoms just by toching and kissing and licking so try other exercises before you give up sex .... mental integration is a must mind and body working together .... do not be a mechanic to just put or take the car bolts ..... think, talk enjoy the company etc etc ...then you will see the results.

Sex is not penetration sex is an art .... so became a sex artist and you will see the results and remember the latin music "Despacito" which means slow .....

Here it is .....enjoy and is in English ..... and remember take your time find the correct time not only for you but for your partner ... this is very important you may need to try in many different ways .... just do not get upset when she say "Ummmmm I am so tier Ummmmm" or something else then you are doing it wrong ... no pressure no pushing ...trust me does not work and there is not pleasure ............... We are humans not dogs .....

And if all this do not work well then there is another problem .... not a sex problem ....

Enjoy ..... This is your sex Artist doctor he he he he he

Just remember that size is not important is just the way you use the tools for example if you have a difficult screw and you need to lose it up you need some WD40 and wait with patience then apply the tools until the screw loose up

..... see .... is the same principle .... Think about it

and always have fun in your mind and body .... will work try it and let me know the results

One thing not mentioned is circumcision at an older age because pushing back the foreskin is very painful.
Being of European background, circumcision for a baby was seldom done.
Now at age 90 I face the prospect of circumcision and not looking forward to it but it will most likely be unavoidable.

Reminds me of Kenneth William singing - Ohhhhh, what a beauty I've never seen one as big as that before --- When the story got around, they came from far and wide. When they saw the size of it, all the ladies cried ---(chorus). Needless to say, the lyrical subject matter happened to be a pumpkin and Williams' exceptional 'camp' style embellished the song no end. I don't think Kenneth was that hard-up where the ladies were concerned. LGBTI brigade aside - and not being that hard up myself - the subject: if response is indicative, seems to have sorted the men from the boys. Bye and large would it be fair to say that Boomer's may be a little averse to conversations of this delicate nature?
Maybe it's just me reading more into it than necessary but on occasion when I have a need to use a public toilet it seems to me that most young males choose to closet themselves in a booth rather than stand at the urinal where middle aged and old sausages hang out. Maybe the young-un's feel intimidated by the chap alongside, some of whom are prone to peeping over the partition.
Not at all sure whether dimples, angle of the dangle, blotched skin (fore and aft), quantity or size matters all that much but guess it's all relative to how old you feel and these days there's precious little of that - feeling, ahh the memories. I must be hard-up!
