Hotmail is changing its name from Hotmail to Outlook and has redesigned the website.
Conversations: Up until now, when you sent an email and received a reply, it would come in as a whole new email. This has changed. Outlook will group your emails together as conversations, as long as the subject line remains the same.
Syncing: On the far right hand side of your new mail box, you will no longer see only an advertisement. This has been replaced by different modules for you to add your calendars, social networks and contact lists for ease of use.
Chat: For those who have a Windows/MSN Messenger account, you no longer need to log into the program to chat. This is now built into your Outlook account. You can also video call through this method.
SkyDrive: One click access to your SkyDrive account to upload and store documents and files.
If your service has not automatically updated, you can force this update by logging into your Hotmail account at the soon to be new website www.outlook.com.
