Comedian Jean Kittson’s latest offering, You’re still hot to me, is a straight-up look at the world of menopause. Ms Kittson has set out to start a real, open discussion about the highs (temperatures, that is) and lows of menopause. As she says, she wanted to write “An easy-to-read book full of useful information that didn’t make you want to put on an old chenille dressing-gown and a pair of comfortable slippers and throw yourself under a marching band.”
The book features anecdotes from Australian women, some of whom are experts in the field of menopause, and is set out in an accessible manner, making its length quite easy to handle. With practical tips and an inviting tone, You’re still hot to me is one of the better menopause books I’ve read (and believe me, by now I’ve read a few).
