Walter Cronkite

Trust and integrity are two words not often associated with the world’s press or journalist but these characteristics were noteworthy in former CBS Evening News anchorman, Walter Cronkite.

Cronkite, who passed away on was one of America’s most notable journalists for all the right reasons. Known as “the most trusted man in America, Cronkite reported on World War II, the Nuremberg trials, the Vietnam War, the death of JFK and Watergate but was possibly best known for his coverage of the moon landings. It was this coverage that earned him a Moon-rock award, the only non-NASA recipient.
