Stocking up on accessories can be expensive if you’re not looking in the right places.
While summer has certainly got off to a slower start than usual, it would appear the temperature is finally rising. Even if you’re back at work, it’s likely you’ll have a chance to soak up some rays on the weekend. Most of us want to look good at the beach but stocking up on accessories can be expensive if you’re not looking in the right places. The following are a few of my favourite beach ready items this season. Just add sun and sand.
A great alternative to a heavy beach towel which takes ages to dry and ends up collecting half-a-beach worth of sand. Knotty is based on the towels used for centuries in the bath houses of Turkey, and is highly absorbent and quick drying. Made from 100 pre cent hand-woven, natural cotton, it is also incredibly versatile, doubling as a sarong, wrap, scarf or even a bag. Most Knotties are price at $39.
My favourite beach bag I’ve come across this season. It comes in a range of colours and the pom poms are a fun added detail. Big enough to hold all your beach day essentials and perhaps even those of your friends! In the cooler months use this bag as a shopping tote or a great bag to take to the markets.
To get the look for less check out the Bronte Bag for $39.95.
