Brace yourself, we’re finally getting an online Zara store

Font Size:

It’s hard not to love Zara. While there’s no disputing it’s not always the best quality in the world and you run the risk of everyone else having the same outfit as you on, they remain one of the few high street stores that nail the catwalk trends season after season at an affordable price point.

A household name, celebrities and everyday people alike shop at Zara. And while Australians used to have to wait until they went to Europe for the privilege of stocking up, the fashion giant has had a few stores around our giant island for a number of years now. That said, there has been one key factor missing.

As you may or may not have noticed, Zara has not had an online store for Australia. Until now.

It went live on 14 March, which means you can now shop for all their affordable trend inspired threads from the comfort of your couch. Or, perhaps more accurately, sans pants and with a glass of wine in hand.

Terrible news for your bankcard for anyone who doesn’t live in a city or town where one of their handful of Australian stores are, but this is your time to shine. And even if you do live in the city, there’s something very big to be said about shopping online as opposed to in person: you get fresh stock as opposed to items that have been tried on and now feature someone else’s makeup.

You can expect to find the majority of their range available to browse and buy online. Sign up to their mailing list to be on the safe side and keep up to date on this breaking news.

I don’t mind there being a tax on fashion items. Fashion is for the intellectually vacuous (mainly women) and any extra tax would be an Idiot Tax.
