Cathay Pacific has announced the introduction of a more flexible fare structure.
Cathay Pacific has announced the introduction of a new, simplified, streamlined and more flexible fare structure. Available for year-round fares the changes aim to provide passengers with greater flexibility.
As a result of conversations with travel agents throughout Australia, the new structure now has three fares rules instead of eight.
Some of the main benefits of the new fare structures include;
- Changes to credit card payment fees.
Payment by credit card on every fare is now a flat fee of $30, except for flights from Australia to Hong Kong which can be paid for by credit card at no charge.
- Mixed classes.
Passengers now have the ability to mix and match different classes on different legs of the journey. I.e. You could book economy to Hong Kong and then Premium Economy on the return journey.
- Hong Kong stopover.
There is no cost for Hong Kong stopovers in both directions on every fare.
- No rebooking fee.
- A reduction from eight to three fare rules.
