With one in seven Australians aged 65 or older, it goes without saying that they will play a huge part in deciding who will be in power after the 2019 federal election.
Many older Australians look forward to the next big event that will shape our nation – the 2019 federal election. There are many issues besides banking and financial institution misconduct that need to be addressed, such as addressing pension poverty, the ‘retiree tax’ debacle and solving the aged care crisis. As a major player in the next election, we thought we’d ask you which issues will most influence your vote.
Will the party that promises lower energy bills get your vote? Will your decision be made on Age Pension increases? Or will responsible action on climate change sway your preference?
