Malaysian Airlines tragedy

Today we woke to the tragic news that 298 people have lost their lives after a Malaysian Airlines 777 was shot down above eastern Ukraine. The flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur is believed to have been carrying 27 Australians, with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) confirming at least 23.

As yet, it is still unclear who is to blame for this tragedy, however, it is believed that flight MH17 was shot down by a land-to-air missile.
