Prince Philip retires

While the world waited with fear yesterday that something terrible had happened at Buckingham Palace, royal household staff were being told that 95-year-old Prince Philip would be retiring from public duties this August. Prince Philip is the longest-ever-lived male member of the British royal family and, in his own words, a “cantankerous old sod”. For a laugh, why not enjoy some of his more memorable gaffes with these Prince Philip-isms?
