Travel through Europe for free

If you’re planning and budgeting for a European summer holiday in 2017, you should take advantage of Rail Europe’s newly released free and discounted travel deals.

If you book a Eurail Pass by 31 March 2017, you could receive up to five free travel days.

How many free extra days of travel you get will depend on the type of pass you purchase. Buy a travel pass for five or seven travel days within a month and you’ll get one extra day of travel on top; while for passes allowing 10 or 15 travel days within two months, as well as the 15-day continuous pass, two extra days will be granted. Purchase a 22-day continuous pass and you’ll travel free for three additional days. Or buy a one-month continuous pass and get five extra travel days.

Book on selected TGV Lyria France to Switzerland services between 2 and 31 March 2017, and you’ll enjoy one-way fares starting from just A$48. Routes include Paris to Geneva, Lausanne, Neuchâtel, Vallorbe, Bern, Zurich, Basel; as well as Geneva to Lyon, Valence, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Toulon, St Raphael, Cannes, Antibes and Nice. This insane travel deal is valid for use between 2 May and 27 August 2017.

And you have until 24 April to take advantage of A$66 one-way fares on Eurostar journeys between London/Ebbsfleet/Ashford and Brussels, and between Lille/Calais and Paris, with travel valid from 6 March to 20 August 2017.

At these prices, you can see more of Europe for so much less.
