Affogato

An easy alternative to serve as a dessert at your next dinner party, your guests will be more than impressed. With a scoop of ice cream and shots of espresso and liquor, the Italian affogato is the ideal combination to end the night.

Serves: Four

Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

2 scoops vanilla bean ice-cream
4 x 30ml shots black espresso coffee, hot
1/ 3 cup Italian liqueur, such as Frangelico or Amaretto

Method

Divide ice-cream among Four serving glasses. Top each with a coffee shot, then divide liqueur among glasses and voila!
