Creamy Caramelised Pears

Finish off your evening meal with a nice glass of brandy and this easy recipe for Debbie’s Creamy Caramelised Pears.

Serves 4
Ingredients
50g unsalted butter
4 tablespoons clear honey
4 dessert pears, peeled, cored and quartered
150ml double cream

Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees/gas mark 4
Melt the butter and honey in an ovenproof frying pan over a medium heat. Once melted, add the pears and fry until coloured, turning carefully.
Place frying pan in oven and roast pears for 10-15mins
Remove the pan from the oven and return to stovetop. Add cream and bring to the boil, stirring gently until slightly thickened.

Serve with your favourite glass of brandy for a special treat.
