Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

There is nothing better than French toast for Sunday breakfast. Our easy but delicious recipe for Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast will become a regular treat for you on the weekends. Serve hot with butter or maple syrup.

Serves: One

Time: 15 minutes 


  • 1 egg
  • dash of vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 small banana, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter


In a small bowl, lightly beat the egg and vanilla together. Spread a tablespoon of peanut butter on top of each slice of bread and put the banana slices on top of one of the slices of bread. Place the other slice of bread on top of the first, to make a peanut butter and banana sandwich. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Dip the sandwich into the egg mixture and place in the frying pan. Cook until brown on both sides. Serve hot.
