Guilt-free Brownies

Forget fruit salad and yoghurt. Being a diabetic doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the good stuff. This simple and delicious diabetic-friendly chocolate brownie recipe will satisfy even the sweetest of tooths.

Ingredients
1/2 cup plain flour
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 eggs

Directions
Preheat oven to 175°C. Grease a 20 x 20 cm square pan.
In a bowl, stir together flour, cocoa and sugar. Pour in oil, vanilla, apple sauce and eggs.
When mixed together, spread the batter evenly into the greased pan.
Bake for 30 mins and serve warm with strawberries.
