Simple Bun Loaf

Shirley shares with us her quick and Simple Bun Loaf that can be made from ingredients you may have in your pantry.

2 cups self-raising flour
1 tablespoon heaped powdered milk
1 cup sultanas/currants
1/2 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 220’c.
Stir dry ingredients three times. Add sultanas and water. Mix well with a knife.
Cook in a greased tin for 20 mins approximately.
Spread with a little butter or jam and enjoy with a nice cup of tea.
Optional: Sprinkle with nutmeg, raw sugar and coconut before cooking.
