Our Berry Fool is, in fact, no fool at all, for it combines three delicious ingredients so that you can whip up a tasty dessert in a jiffy. The nuts are simply an added bonus.

Ingredients
- 1/2 jar blackberry (or any berry) jam
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup mixed fresh berries
- handful walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
Method
Pass the jam through a fine sieve and throw out the solids. In a bowl, beat the cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the jam into the cream to form swirls. Divide mixture among four cups and garnish with berries and nuts.
