Grilled Bananas with Cinnamon

Our Grilled Bananas with Cinnamon go well with pancakes for breakfast as they do with a scoop of luscious vanilla ice cream for a mouth-watering dessert.

Serves: Two

Time: 15 minutes


  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


In a bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon until combined. Peel the bananas and brush over with coconut oil.The sprinkle over the cinnamon sugar.

Place in a pan over medium heat and cook the bananas until caramelised. Serve immediately with pancakes or ice cream – or both.
