Skip the cheese for a healthy, yet still hearty take on mac and cheese, with our Mac and Peas recipe. All you need are three low-cost, staple cooking ingredients.
Time: 20 minutes
- 85g macaroni pasta
- 100g frozen peas
- 20g butter
Bring a medium saucepan of salted water to the boil and add pasta. Cook pasta to packet instructions and when there are three minutes remaining for the pasta to cook, add peas.When the pasta is ready, drain and return to the saucepan, stir in the butter and then crush the peas a little. Season to taste and enjoy.
