- 4 tomatoes
- 2 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1/2 cup stale bread cubes, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat the oven to 220°C and line a tray with baking paper. Hollow out four tomatoes and season with salt and pepper, then invert to drain. Cook two bacon slices with garlic,thentoss with the lettuce, stale bread cubes, mayonnaise, and salt and pepper. Stuff tomatoes with mixture and bake for 30 minutes.
