Grilled Peaches

Peaches are in season. And while they’re delicious just as they are, our Grilled Peaches are even more so – especially when served with natural yoghurt or vanilla ice-cream.

Serves: Four

Time: 25 minutes


  • 4 ripe medium peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • natural yoghurt or vanilla ice-cream, to serve


In a large bowl, mix the peaches with the vanilla extract, almond extract and brown sugar. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes and heat a fry-pan over a medium-high heat. Grill the peaches, skin side down until slightly charred, about three minutes. Turnover and cook the other side for one minute. Split the peaches into four servings and serve with ice-cream or natural, thick yoghurt.
