These yummy poppy seed treats take only minutes to prepare.
- 4 tablespoons grapeseed oil
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 tablespoons vanilla powder
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 2 cups almond meal
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 1 egg white
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Line a tray with baking paper.
Combine the oil, sugar, vanilla powder and lemon zest. Add in the almond meal, salt and poppy seeds and knead for five minutes.
Roll the dough out to a 1.5cm thickness. Using a cookie cutter or small glass, cut into shapes.
Place on the baking tray and brush with the egg white. Bake for six to eight minutes or until the biscuits start turning golden on the edges.
