The Cup
The Cup is the true story of the 2002 Melbourne Cup when, days before the race, jockey Damien Oliver lost his brother in a tragic racing accident. An accident which was strangely reminiscent of the way the brothers had both lost their father 27 years earlier. After a number of setbacks Damien manages to team up with Irish trainer Dermot Weld. Together they create one of the most thrilling finales in sporting history.
